Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Season 2003/2004

SkiResort.co.uk is division of Hotels London Limited, recognised reservation agents for hotels, apartments and chalets worldwide. We are pleased to offer you this collection of winter accommodation, and will be adding to these during this and future seasons.

General Terms and Conditions below: (Individual hotel variations are detailed on each hotels page within this website)

All bookings:

  • Must be accompanied by credit card details in order to secure the reservation requested.
  • Must be secured by a deposit of 30% of total booking or one night equivalent (whichever is greater) at time of booking.
  • Must have balances paid upon departure of the hotel, unless otherwise stated in the hotels own terms and conditions.
  • Bookings,amendments and cancellations must be conducted through skiresort.co.uk to be valid and for rates to be guaranteed. Going directly to the hotel can cause confusion, double bookings and higher charges.
  • Emailed bookings and enquiries WILL ALWAYS be replied to within 24 hours. In the event you have not received a reply, please contact our office to check, as all bookings are binding when submitted with credit card details. Please be aware problems can happen with email service providers from time to time beyond our, or your control.(Strong warning to Hotmail, MSN and Yahoo! account holders using filters)Ignoring any booking made may result in penalty charges for non arrival.

Accepted forms of payment:

  • Mastercard, Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Switch, American Express (AMEX may not be accepted by smaller hotels or chalets).
  • Bank transfers are also possible upon request with resonable notice. All bank transfer fees are to be covered by the customer.
  • Personal cheques may be accepted, however time has to be given for clearance of funds, and no booking is confirmed until clear funds have been received by the hotel.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Deposits are non refundable, however may be transferrable to another date during that season. (Subject to individual hotel terms detailed on each hotels terms page.)
  • Bookings cancelled, within 35 days to the arrival date, may be penalised up to 100% of the total booking. (Subject to individual hotel terms as detailed on each hotels terms page.)
  • Some hotels may agree to credit a penalty fee toward another stay during the same season. This is by no means guaranteed and subject to availability and hotels own terms and conditions.

Winter accommodation is very limited, especially during half term, other school breaks, Christmas and New Year. You are encouraged to book as early as possible, and bookings can be made 12 months in advance.

Disclaimer:

Receipt of your booking request complete with credit card details is accepted as your agreement to the terms and conditions of SkiResort.co.uk and each hotel (as set out under terms and conditions on Skiresort.co.uk and each hotel page contained herein). In the event your selection is not available, this is therefore no longer binding until further agreement to suggested alternative arrangements has been confirmed by all parties. SkiResort and Hotels London Limited accepts no liability for the failure of other systems, not in their control, such as other service providers and filter restrictions on service like Hotmail, MSN and Yahoo. All accommodation is subject to availability at time of booking, and the hotels have the right to deny any booking and any rate offered. In the event a booking is confirmed, the hotel still holds the right to cancel or adjust rates, provided notice is given to the guest. In the unlikely event that a hotel has overbooked itself, they hold the right to relocate your booking to another hotel, provided it is of same or greater standard and similar rate and location. This is not a likely situation, and not one condoned by SkiResort.co.uk or Hotels London Limted, however one we know happens from time to time in all hotels trying to achieve 100% occupancy. If this is experienced please contact our guest services department as soon as possible on guestservices@hotels-london.co.uk.
